Sir Sydney Camm Bronze Bust Unveiling
On 14th November 2011, a Bronze Bust of Sir Sydney Camm was unveiled at the Windsor and Royal Borough Museum in Windsor's Guildhall.

Windsor Hurricane Announcement
On 14th November 2011, it was announced that the long awaited full-size replica of a Battle of Britain Fighter aircraft is to be erected in Windsor near the town's popular Alexandra Gardens.
Designed by Windsorian Sir Sydney Camm, the Hawker Hurricane will be unveiled on the Thames promenade at the end of Barry Avenue in Spring 2012.
The £39,000 cost of the memorial, which has been in planning since 2006 is being funded by developer contributions through the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead. The council is in full support of the project as a fascinating, historical attraction for residents and visitors alike.

The Coachmaker Sir Sydney Camm Award Announcement
On 14th November 2011, it was announced that a university scholarship for aspiring Aeronautical Engineers, called 'The Coachmaker Sir Sydney Camm Award' was to be created.
The scholarship will be awarded annually by The Worshipful Company of Coachmakers, a London Livery Company and Registered Charity with long experience of managing such educational awards in the aerospace industry and to whom the balance of Commemorative Society funds has been transferred.
SSCCS have instigated the award, administered by The Worshipful Company of Coachmakers; in memory of Sir Sydney Camm.
The first University Award is scheduled for Summer 2012.
